AFL-CIO Endorsement for Gloria Bromell Tinubu
Gloria Bromell Tinubu, 7th Congressional District candidate, to receive SC AFL-CIO’s unanimous endorsement.

Today at noon, Gloria Bromell Tinubu accepted the South Carolina AFL-CIO’s endorsement during a press conference at her campaign headquarters in Conway, South Carolina.
In making the endorsement, AFL-CIO President Donna Dewitt said, “After researching and reviewing the records of the candidates running for the new SC Congressional District 7, the SC AFL-CIO has concluded that Gloria Bromell Tinubu has a proven record which best represents the interests of the working people of the new District. The members of the SC AFL-CIO voted unanimously to endorse her candidacy.”
“It is an honor and a privilege to receive the unanimous endorsement of the SC AFL-CIO for my candidacy for Congress,” Bromell Tinubu said. “Your legacy of fighting for social and economic justice for working people has been a source of inspiration to those of us who share your values. I look forward to working shoulder-to-shoulder with you as we win the 7th congressional seat for the working families of South Carolina and to continue that work into the future.”
Those who attended include Gloria Bromell Tinubu, Democratic Candidate for the 7th Congressional District, Donna Dewitt, President SC AFL-CIO and other labor leaders from the 7th Congressional District.
